> If your preferred size is not listed on our size list, don't worry, custom sizes are available upon request.

> Take a look at the background styles offered. Please note that a detailed background (if requested) will vary in cost depending on what has been requested.

> Once you are certain of your choices, you may then move on to the booking page to secure an available slot on the calendar.

>Alternatively (if your preferred communication is via email or WhatsApp), please request an invoice via email or WhatsApp to pay by bank transfer.

*Pay the deposit

> On securing your place on the booking calendar, you will be directed to make payment via Stripe.

> Alternatively, an invoice would be sent to you via email or WhatsApp (based on your communication preference) to pay by bank transfer.

> I ask for a 20% non-refundable booking deposit which will reserve your place on my waiting list. The balance can then be paid when the portrait is complete. Please see more details under the Terms and Conditions - Payment

*Submit clear photographs:

> Please send in a clear photograph with workable resolution.

> Try as much as you can to take photos in natural lighting and try to capture your furry one's personality.

> Get close enough for a good shot and try not to zoom in as it might make the photograph lose a lot of detail.

> Make sure it's in focus, taken at their eye level and without using the flash function; Check that your pet takes up most of the frame.

> Do ensure that photographs are of good quality so you can get the best painting results.

*The waiting game

> After the deposit has been received, you will be given an estimation of when the portrait will be completed.

> My turn-around time is usually between 6 - 8 weeks.
I allow an extra week for the painting to get touch-dry before handling and packaging for postage.

*Review your furry companion's portrait via email

> After the portrait is completed, I will email you a photograph of it.

> I guarantee you a true likeness of your pet(s), but in the event that you are unhappy with the preview photograph, please notify me of your proposed amendments. I will make up to 3 corrections where practical.

> Once you have confirmed your acceptance of the result, the final payment will be required.

> Please see more details under the Terms and Conditions - Alterations

*Receive your portrait and enjoy the experience that comes with it!

> As soon as full payment is received, your furry one's portrait will be securely packaged and transported via a trusted courier.

> After receipt of your package, please take care when unboxing to avoid accidental damage to the painting.

> After unboxing, leave painting in a safe area of your choosing and allow your oil painting to continue to dry (before considering varnishing).

> Please see more details under the Terms and Conditions - Copyright & Privacy

**A NOTE ON VARNISHING

> Varnishing protects your painting from dirt and dust accumulation over time. It also enhances the appearance of the artwork, taking its radiance up several notches.

> That being said, please allow for six (6) to twelve (12) months of drying, before you consider varnishing your artwork.

> Oil paint dries from the outside in, so even if the surface appears dry, the inner layers may still be curing. Varnishing too soon can trap moisture and disrupt the drying process.

> Varnishing an oil painting too early will cause cracking, discolouration, and an uneven finish resulting from the varnish not adhering uniformly to the painting.

*Please contact me or another Artist around your location, when your painting is ready to be varnished.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please let me know if you have concerns about this before placing your order or I will assume your acceptance. I will respect your privacy and will not use your portrait for promotional reasons if you notify me that you would prefer to keep the commission private.

POLICIES

Returns

Thankyou for getting a custom-made pet portrait from PawposelyPaintedPets.
During the course of the commission, I will be in communication with you via the email that you have provided.
You will receive a preview photograph with room for amendment within the parameters that have been set - see Terms and Conditions - Alterations.
Several steps will be taken to ensure that you are satisfied with the final product on completion.
As pet portraits are bespoke, made-to-order items, they cannot be returned.
There are exceptions to this however:
- Receipt of item(s) damaged in transit. Item(s) must be returned in the same condition as when it got to you, with photographic proof.
- Receipt of a portrait different from what you commissioned, which was sent in error (item must be unused and in the same condition as when it got to you; it must be in its original packaging).
You agree that you do not own the copyright and may not reproduce the portrait in any way.

Refunds

A refund will be issued in the event of damage on receipt of your item from the courier as a result of transporting it.
Pet portraits are bespoke, made-to-order items and as a result (with the exception of the reason listed above), the 20% booking deposit is non-refundable to cover for the materials and booking slot taken.
Any refunds agreed upon will be paid within 14 days, refunded via your original method of payment.
If an item is being returned, once we receive your item we will inspect it and notify you of receipt.
we will then update you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to return your item.
You will receive the credit within fourteen (14) days once we have received the returned item, depending on the bank's or card issuer's policies.
If I need to cancel a commission due to unforseen circumstances that prevent my execution of your order, I will offer a full refund.

Cancellation

Please let me know urgently if you have changed your mind and wish to withdraw your order.
The 20% booking deposit is non-refundable. Please inform me of your decision to cancel by using the contact form, or send an email to [email protected]. Be sure to include specific details of your order, such as the order number and quantity, where applicable.
The deadline for cancellation is 7 days after contract confirmation, after which you will have to pay a fee based on the hours I have already spent on your commission. Please keep in mind that the initial 20% booking deposit is non-refundable and separate from this fee.Cancellation does not apply to:
- items that are clearly personalised;
- items made to your own specifications;
- an already finished commissioned piece ready for delivery, if you had initially accepted when you placed your order that delivery could commence.

Digital Images

For copyright reasons, the cost is not refundable of digital images that have been downloaded except in the instances of fault with the image file(s) or file quality.

This Cookie Policy explains how RuyiArt Ltd Company ("we", "us" and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website at pawposelypainted.crd.co ("Website"). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
In some cases we may use cookies to collect personal information, or that becomes personal information if we combine it with other information
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, RuyiArt Ltd) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g., advertising, interactive content, and analytics). The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites.
Why do we use cookies?
We use first- and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Website to operate, and we refer to these as "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies. Other cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Online Properties.Third parties serve cookies through our Website for advertising, analytics, and other purposes. This is described in more detail below.
How can I control cookies?

Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enables us to recognize when someone has visited our Website or opened an email including them.
This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within a website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to the website from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of email marketing campaigns.
